bespoke-3-hara-1

We have seen 2 other Bespoke Harajuku’s and here is the third pair ever made featuring an exotic theme with Black crocodile skin on the toe area, brown crocodile skin on the swoosh and heel tab and a reptile-like texture applied on the toe box and side panels. Other features include cross-stitching on the side panels, elephant print on the inner lining and contrasting, yellow hints in the form of the laces, outsole and stitching on the midsole. nike-sneakersbr-dunk-pack

Brazilian sneaker blog SneakersBR hooked up with Nike to celebrate the new version of their website with the release of a dunk pack consisting of 5 colorways. Why 5 different colors? Each color actually represents a region of their home country. The pack is called “Espalhando Cultura Sneaker Pelo Brasil” (Spreading Sneaker Culture Throughout Brazil) and is limited to friends and family as they only made 12 pairs of each colorway. Each sneaker comes in a special nylon bag with matching t-shirt, five pairs of laces, metallic lacelock with the SneakersBR logo and an illustrated graphic by Brazilian graffiti artist Popo on the insole (which is one of my favorite bits of the sneaker. Dropping September 8th, but in the mean time, hit the jump to view more details of the pack.

The inaugural World Basketball Festival is now over and here is a recap video of all festivities leading up to the event, particularly the Make Something!! Workshops. I take my hats off to Aaron Rose for putting it together as it brought the WBF back to its grass roots, and ensured we’re all aware of the global and broad cultural reach of the sport of basketball, not just on the court, but through the creativity around it. Check out the video now. Enjoy.
