When Belgian designer Raf Simons unveiled his SS’17 runway collection in Florence each look included a printed rendition of a piece of work from divisive American photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe. Famed for imagery composed almost entirely in a highly stylized black and white palette, Mapplethorpe’s back catalogue had a strong focus on the beauty of the human form. This long sleeved cotton tee features an image taken of the sculpture of the Greek God Hermes – or Ermes in his native tongue. Available now HERE.
