A couple months ago, a Harlem veteran (Jim Jones) and one of Harlem’s main faces today (A$AP Ferg) joined for an ode to the city’s streets. With the single steadily banging throughout the neighborhood, borough and country, “Harlem” gets a visual treatment to match the rugged-yet-boasting lyrics.
The song landed on Jones’ new album, The Kitchen, so the visual takes place in said setting. While Jones’ career (both in the streets and in on the microphone) started off as something small — like a “mom-and-pop operation” — they both obviously transformed into something much larger and successful.
