The Original NES Returns, Only Smaller

July 19, 2016

Nintendo recently announced a sort of re-release of the original Nintendo Entertainment System, for those of us who either weren’t quite done with their early work or were thinking it was time for a revisit. The NES Classic Edition is a true update too, as the mini-console’s output comes in the form of an HDMI port, meaning there won’t be any struggling to find conversion equipment the same way there is for the original NES and it will actually display right on your TV. It doesn’t look like it will play your old cartridges, but with the thirty NES games preloaded, including classics like Metroid, Super Mario Bros., and both Legend of Zelda games, you won’t need to worry. Available now HERE.
