January 15, 2016
This year will mark the 25th anniversary of the 1991 NBA All Star Game that took place in Michael Jordan’s hometown of North Carolina at the Charlotte Coliseum.
In that game Michael Jordan scored 26 points and lead the Eastern Conference to a 116-114 victory over the best of the West. The 1991 All Star Game was also the day that Michael decided to debut the Air Jordan 6 and he did so in the Black/Infrared colorway. In order to remember this iconic moment in Michael’s career Mitchell & Ness will be releasing Jordan’s 1991 NBA All-Star Game jersey that you see above. The jersey comes in white with NBA All Starlogo of that year slapped right on the middle of the jersey with the number 23 in red. The back of the jersey features Jordan in red with the number 23 as well.
You’ll be able to get yours today (Friday, January 15th) at the Mitchell & Ness flagship store in Philadelphia and at other select Mitchell & Ness retailers.
