First revealed back in May in proto form, Rotofugi’s Pirate Abe Exclusive Headspace set by Luke Chueh and Munky King is finished and ready for collectors’ shelves. Headspace—based on the OG painting series-is naturally all about the (removable) heads. The exclusive features a head of Rotofugi’s mascot Pirate Abe—his 3D debut was sculpted by Scott Wetterschneider (Shinbone Creative)—and a crying bear. Limited to 200 sets, Pirate Abe Headspace is exclusively avaialble now from Rotofugi for $60 each [+ s/h]. More than a simple colorway with a loose connection to the retailer, the collaborative aspect of this exclusive sets it apart with a memorable origin, celebrating both Luke’s classic bear and Rotofugi’s longstanding status as a go-to source for art toys.
