The Vertical Record Player Inspired by Dinosaurs

July 10, 2015

First it was Float from Gramovox, and now we have another turntable turning things around. TOC is a vertical record player designed by Roy Harpaz, and it was created with ease of use and clean design in mind. Inspired by the age of the dinosaurs—”T” for the Triassic period, the “C” for the Cretaceous period, and the “O” for the Jurassic period in the middle and the shape of an egg—the vinyl spinner features modern niceties like LED touch buttons and sensors that allow you to actually skip tracks. Complete with a carbon fiber brush that keeps the stylus clean and a set of bearings that allow TOC to play even warped records, the stylish turntable is as much an advanced performance piece as it is a piece of art. No word on if it will end up being produced for sale. More details available HERE.
