If you have never seen the Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB before, then it may surprise you when you take your first look. It looks like a combination between a (runner) and a boot (outsole). It’s definitely a unique looking sneaker to say the least. A different version of this shoe know as the Nike Lunar Flyknit Chukka started this look and it has now evolved into this more rugged and tough looking trainer.
I personally own a few pairs of the original Lunar Flyknit Chukka, and I love them. This new Trainer version of the runner has been given upgrades with hyperfuse panels on the toecap and the heel for reinforcement and durability. Another feature you may immediately notice is the rugged Free sole that gives you a couple of inches of height. This new colorway utilizes a Wolf Grey on the Flyknit upper with Royal Blue and Purple accents on the Swoosh and heel stripe. Don’t forget about that speckled midsole that adds that extra pizzazz to this shoe.
The Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB is definitely not for everyone, but you can’t deny that it has an appearance that makes you do a double take. Look for this new colorway at select Nike retailers this Spring and let us know how you feel about the silhouette.
