Iconic All-American brands Converse and Levi’s have recently aligned to create a denim rendition of the classic All-Star Low silhouette – Levi’s x Converse Denim All-Star – exclusively for Japanese retailer BEAMS, also known for its clothing subdivision Beams Plus, which reinterprets Ivy-League and preppy aesthetics with their own sensibilities.
Staying true to the silhouette’s original design, this modernized revision now boasts a dark selvedge denim composition made in conjunction with the White Oak cotton mills in North Carolina. Strikingly similar to a pair of Levi’s denim jeans, the low-top model is adorned with redline detailing along the back heel, while resting atop a White vulcanized sole unit.
Topped off with a White toe cap and matching laces, look for this classic pair at select retailers soon.
