These Husqvarna Concepts Are Inspired by a Bike from the 50s

November 11, 2014

Husqvarana and Kiska took the wraps off a pair of concept motorcycles at the EICMA show in Milan that somehow blend futuristic styling with the lightweight guts of a 1955 Silver Pilen. There are two 401 concepts: the Vit Pilen (“White Arrow”) and the Svart Pilen (“Black Arrow”), and both weigh under 300 pounds (by the way, that’s ridiculous). Both feature that classic aggressive headlamp with a light-up halo outline that grabs your attention when viewed from the front. The Svart Pilen is a bit more 0ff-road ready, while the Vit Pilen is in the mold of a trim and sexy street bike. Hey, if a bike is good enough for Steve McQueen, it’s good enough for us. We’ll hope to see these available in the future. In the mean time, check out Husqvarna for more details.
