The Air Jordan 28 is widely regarded as the best basketball sneaker ever made. The shoe features a sleek and modern look while packing a serious punch when it comes to performance attributes. The most talked about performance feature on the Air Jordan 28 is without a doubt the Flight Plate. The Jordan Brand Flight Plate essentially unlocks the Nike Zoom units used in the midsole of the sneaker and maximizes its responsiveness – giving you a ride like you have never felt before.
Now the Air Jordan 28 has been on the market for almost a year now without any hints at any new colorways dropping, so the surfacing of the Air Jordan 28 “Bamboo” colorway is rather interesting. If you happened to follow the unveiling of the Air Jordan 28 last year you may have seen the Tinker Hatfield sketch (in the gallery below) as it was offered to us by Jordan Brand during the rollout. As you can see, the Air Jordan 28 “Bamboo” features a perforated White upper, White midsole, and White outsole with hits of bamboo on the external heel counter. You may also have noticed that the version seen in these photos differs from the one seen in Hatfield’s sketch. The two most noticeable differences is that of the synthetic zipper pull and hit of carbon fiber on the pair in the photos, as opposed to the bamboo zipper pull and hit of bamboo on the midsole.
There is no information known at this time in-regards to the official colorway, release date, or if these are simply just samples. In any case, make sure you keep it locked to FATKIDS® as we will make sure to bring you all the info we can as we receive it.
