Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Safari’

Introduced in 1997, the Air Foamposite One was both arguably ahead of its time. A similar case can be made for the now-iconic safari print. First utilized in 1987, on the appropriately named Air Safari, safari print has been layered on a variety of canvases throughout the years. The latest offering pairs the beloved print with the iconic silhouette, creating the Air Foamposite One ‘Safari’.

This unofficial union between Tinker Hatfield’s iconic print and Eric Avar’s signature shoe features the tonal ‘safari’ print adorn the molded uppers of the Foamposite while orange accents flashing throughout serve as a respective nod to Hatfield’s 1987 creation. The shoe is finished off with some unmistakable Foamposite One touches such as the translucent sole unit and ’1 cent’ marque to the tongue and outersole.
