White Mountaineering A/W’13

September 11, 2013

The latest drop from White Mountaineering continues with their innovative approach, seeking to fulfill the three main principles of design, utility and technology, creating new pieces that build, and improve, on classic design.

For this winter season, head designer Yosuke Aizawa has applied this approach to a selection of everyday essential items, creating a distinctive T Shirts and selection of innovate styled shirting, incorporating traditional materials such as flannel and cable knitwear.

An absolute cold-weather essential, the Microchips Pattern Round Neck Sweater is constructed from a lightweight textured knit, in a contemporary silhouette that lends itself seamlessly to this otherwise technical collection.

Any drop from the Japanese masters of technical apparel wouldn’t be complete without strong showings in the outerwear category and AW13 is no different. The T/C Compact Dungaree Mountain Parka and Dobby Raglan Hood Parka are both constructed with water resistant and windproof Gore-Tex linings and are finished with Mr Aizawa’s inimitable eye for detail.
