There’s a good reason that Moncler are in the position they are. The celebrated French outdoor outfitter has been the go to choice for European hikers and skiers since 1952 and continues to press forward season after season, creating forward thinking designs which effectively draw on their unique wealth of experience.
This attitude has led Moncler to collaborate with a number of their contemporaries, each time successfully identifying parties whose approach sits well with their own, exploring the possibilities and pushing the limits of performance outdoor apparel time after time.
Having previously collaborated with pioneering designers such as Thom Browne, Christopher Raeburn and Fat Kids favourites Visvim, Moncler have teamed up with White Mountaineering, the Japanese masters of technical design for a range entitled Moncler W.
Bringing with them their expert knowledge of performance fabrics and their unique eye for detailing, the first Moncler W collection sees White Mountaineering, under the stewardship of head designer Yosuke Aizawa, take on selection of the French brand’s iconic down stuffed Jackets and Gillets, incorporating distinctive wool panelling, technical fabric blends and expert detailing.
