The Aircraft Jacket combines influences from classic post-sheepskin USAF Bomber and RAF Flight Jackets from the mid 1940’s, updated with a close fitting three-panel peaked hood. It is made in the lighter weight but highly wind resistant L34 Ventile®. Originally designed to increase the life expectancy of WWII pilots who bailed out or ditched into the sea, this fabric has been specified by the Defence Garment Industry ever since Ventile® fabrics for RAF clothing went into mass production in 1943. The Aircraft Jacket for Spring 2013 is externally seam taped using a unique Ventile® seam sealing process. Available now online HERE.
