EPPERSON MOUNTAINEERING are back with another dope collection of backpacks this season. Their climb packs feature the same mashup colorway and cylindrical shape as previous seasons along with heavy-duty Cordura nylon fabric and military-spec webbing. Here is what Yoshi Kanazawa has to say about their latest creation.
“We began with motley color combinations reminiscent of the 1980s, and took the peculiar shape from authentic rope bags. The multiple loop webbing detail on the lower front panel is a functional feature inspired by the rock climbing scene, and the mountaineering-spec carabiner assists with easy access to the main storage compartment. Denier is a unit of weight by which the strength of nylon is measured: Epperson Mountaineering products are made from tough 1000 denier Cordura nylon. That means it’s very, very strong. We also bound the seams on all inner compartments to guarantee long-term strength, and secured the pack with neat bar tacks at critical high-tension points. It’s durable, non-abrasive and made in bright colors for safety reasons, plus it looks good. We cut it diagonally with a hot knife so the surface finish is clean, and the diagonal edge makes it easier to insert the straps through the metal buckles.”
These beautiful bags are available in Raven / Old Navy Multicolor, Coffee / Sandstone Multicolor and Barn Red / Clay / Midnight Multicolor colors. All of which are available now HERE for $196.
