Takashi Murakami and Kaikai Kiki Open Hidari Zingaro Gallery in Berlin

Takashi Murakami and Kaikai Kiki recently opened their first gallery outside of Asia called Hidari Zingaro in Berlin. Hidari Zingaro opened on the third floor of Nakano Broadway in Japan on April 28. Kaikai Kiki had been operating a window display on the shopping center’s first floor for some time, before opening a full fledged store selling artworks, antiques, posters, and other various items. The name Hidari Zingaro is derived from the genius sculptor Hidari Zingoro, who is said to have existed in the early years of the Edo period.
