White Mountaineering 2012 Spring/Summer ‘Dune Rover’ Collection Lookbook

February 2, 2012

White Mountaineering strikes me as a contemporary hikers fashion label, that bends the rules, and yet makin’ it work somehow. In WM’s latest collection, it involves a lot of “daring pieces” that we would find strange to see if people actually do sport it on the streets. I think it would only be a matter of time before you see people pickin’ up on this look.

I’m not saying that it would be seen everywhere but for the likes of Asia, especially Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Swaggers would be frothing over this.

As you can see from WM S/S collection, lots of experiments with patterns, materials, denim and patterned embroidery’s were explored giving each piece a unique finish. Each piece is also carefully tailored to expose the detail of the designs.

It is exciting to see one of my favorite Japanese labels releasing such cool and daring pieces. Kudos!
