Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Nike lets Japanese reggae legend Mighty Crown get a hold of two classic silhouettes and have its way with them. The result is absolutely stunning. The Dunk High Premium wears a black colorway that features nubuck, patent, tumbled leather, Elephant print, ostrich, croc, snakeskin and nappy suede material selections. Beyond just that though, the materials are switched across the left and right shoe, adding a whole new level of depth to this collaboration. The Sky Force 88 Low is supremely detailed and mixes 3M, Flint Grey and Metallic Silver across a croc skin printed upper. Catch a glimpse of it from afar or under a camera’s flash and you’re sure to remember it. Finally, both shoes feature gold glitter-highlighted icy outsoles, secondary lace options (Waxed Varsity Red for the Dunk and glossy Silver for the Court Force), underside and insole graphics, and crown dubraes. Clearly, like the legacy of Mighty Crown, this “20th Anniversary” collection wasn’t built in a day. Pick up either pair now at select retailers.
