The Rambler backpack features a weatherproof main compartment which can be used in either “roll-top” mode, or in a traditional “flap-down” configuration. A key feature of the Rambler backpack is it’s ability to quickly double in size from 1,350 cu.in. to 2,700 cu.in. when needed for extra cargo carrying capacity.
The Rambler also features multiple weatherproof compartments, urethane coated zippers, waterproof materials, and a carbon fiber reinforced internal frame suspension system. Front zippered pocket fits laptop computers such as the 15in MacBook Pro, 13in MacBook Air, or iPad. Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.
For all the riders out there lookin’ to cop a backpack, Mission Workshop has got the perfect one for ya’ called the Rambler.
First thing we noticed about the Rambler is it’s perfect size, it’s neither too big nor too small. Which works nicely for the average commuter or city rider. On top of fitting snuggly on your back, it allows you to carry anything (and we mean anything) from your water bottle, tools, lunch box, laptop to a bike frame and more.
As mentioned in their press kit (above), one of the best features of this bag is its ability to expand and fit MORE. It sits around 1,350 cu.in. before expansion and 2,700 cu.in after expanding. The beauty about this feature is if you were out riding one day (with the backpack), stopped by your local bike shop with no intentions of buying anything, but end up walking out with a new bike frame or anything big and bulky (which we are all too capable of), you can expand the Rambler to fit double of its initial size. What a brilliant design.
Besides its expandable feature, the bag comes tapered with urethane coated zippers and waterproof materials to keep your goods nice and dry even in the nastiest storms. Surely you’ve experienced having your shirt or sandwich get all soggy and awful after riding in the rain to work. Well, fear not, with the Rambler, it will keep your lunch as how it was prepared in the morning even if you were to ride through a tsunami (hopefully you don’t have to).
Next great feature is its multiple “secret” compartments throughout the bag. We are suckers for compartments when buying a bag, and the Rambler has definitely ticked that box for us. You will find several smaller compartments on the flap, front and inside of the bag (check out pictures below for more details). You can now roll around with your hand-made toothpick and compass if you wanted too (don’t know why you would want to though).
To sum it all up, the Rambler is one bag that is functional, convenient to carry around, waterproof and has got all the features you need for carrying your goods around safely. Plus you get to choose from 4 different colors, Black, Charcoal, Silver, and Green. Well… what are you waiting for…? Cop your Rambler Backpack today at MISSIONWORKSHOP.
Fat Kids Rating : 10/10 (It’s that good…you’ll know what we’re talking about when you see the bag for yourself)
