In 1961 Mr. Tsunemi crafted the first pair of Edwin denim jeans in Japan. As part of the 50 year celebrations, Edwin have teamed up with Sivletto and Unionville to produce a modified version of the Nashville. The usual two tone stitching has been replaced with a dark copper shade, which gives the pants a clean and authentic look based on a time in history when the production of denim was focused on strength and durability and the simplicity of using only one type of thread in every machine. To further focus on the collaboration the Edwin tab on the right pocket has been removed and the leather patch artwork has been modified to include the Unionville & Sivletto store names. This limited edition comes complete with a custom made tote bag. More images after the jump.
