Paramount Pictures recently announced that Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon has passed up $1 billion at the worldwide box office, making it the tenth movie to do so ever in history. To date, the third installment of the hit Transformers franchise, and the first shot in 3-D, has grossed $338 million in U.S. and $663 million internationally.
