Nike just released 2 dope sneakers as part of their Fall 2011 collection. Introducing the Air Royal Mid SO QS and Women’s SFB Premium QS. Both shoes just released globally in various colors so be sure to look out for them at your local Nike accounts. More info and images of the shoes after the jump.
NIKE AIR ROYAL MID SO QS
Combining premium fabrication, lifestyle sensibilities and Air Max comfort, the new Nike Air Royal Mid SO debuts as a new style in Nike Sportswear’s Fall 2011 collection. A unique method of construction, “SO” stands for Stitched Outsole, which bonds the upper portion of the shoe with the crepe rubber sole, a traditional method with timeless appeal. This stitched outsole construction minimizes the use of solvents and adhesives for a premium finish that showcases the shoe’s simplified aesthetic.
The shoe is available in three colorways (Beachtree, Cool Grey and Black) with bright color pops in the crepe rubber soles, a new statement for Nike Sportswear. The basketball inspired silhouette, perforated suede upper for ventilation and Air Max Air-Sole unit in the heel combine heritage and comfort. The shoe will launch globally this July.
NIKE WOMEN’S SFB PREMIUM QS
Inspired by Nike co-founder and University of Oregon Track & Field Coach Bill Bowerman’s time in the 10th Mountain Division of the US Army, the Nike Innovation Kitchen and Tobie Hatfield set out to honor their founding father with a modern athletic boot designed for first responders. Initially launched in 2009, the Nike Special Field Boot (SFB) was engineered to the specifications of elite military personnel. The SFB was quickly adopted as one of Nike Sportwear’s most distinct styles and this release sees the model modernized with a classic Liberty pattern.
The Women’s SFB Premium QS features quick-drying synthetic leather overlays for durability and support, multiple ventilation zones for breathability and a Nike Free-inspired outsole designed for traction and a natural range of motion. The boot’s ultra lightweight, breathability and cushioning provide performance benefits with sensible street appeal. The boot debuts in July and select global retailers.
