WESC teams up with Australian street culture ambassadors Fat Kids, AWOL crew (Deam, Adnate & Itch) and Everfresh crew (Makatron) to help homeless youth find long term employment via their custom headphone project.
With a vision to help kids get off the streets in a more creative fashion, Fat Kids and WESC decided to join forces to bring to life the worlds first WESC custom headphone battle during the Aww Shit! Summer Finale. They chose to use the Bongo and Oboe headphones as the main canvas and thanks to Deam, Adnate, Itch and Makatron, who donated their time and energy, the battle went amazingly well.
All 4 customized headphones sold during the silent auction, in which 100% of all proceeds went to STREAT, a non profit organization that helps get homeless youth off the streets by teaching them the necessary skills to find long term employment.
This is the first of many collaborative projects that Fat Kids will be running to support those in need so stay tuned for more info of whats to come in 2011. In the mean time, hit the jump to view more images of the collaborative project.
